Older Omaha neighborhoods (Dundee, Benson, downtown) still run cast-iron and clay sewer lines that scale up and crack with age, and the metro's mature trees send roots straight into those joints. Newer Gretna, Elkhorn, and Papillion construction runs PVC, which clogs less but still catches grease and "flushable" wipes (they aren't). Most single-drain clogs are cleared in 30–60 minutes. Main line clogs and jetting jobs take longer, usually 1–2 hours.
Snaking (cabling) is perfect for most clogs and is the lower-cost option. Hydro jetting uses high-pressure water to scour the full pipe wall and is the right call for heavy grease, recurring clogs, or root intrusion. We'll recommend the lighter option whenever it will do the job.
Repeat clogs usually mean buildup on the pipe walls, a partial root intrusion, a venting issue, or a pipe-slope problem, not a one-off blockage. We run a camera to find the real cause so you stop paying for the same clog twice.
